Job summary

The Victorian Department of Families, Fairness & Housing is seeking a Policy and Program Officer to help improve outcomes for Victorian women and girls. You will develop policy and programs, support government processes, manage projects and prepare written products, with strong analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality briefings, correspondence, cabinet submissions, advice and other written products.
• Contribute to development, analysis and provision of advice and sound policy recommendations to senior management and government.
• Contribute to the full life cycle of projects and/or programs to meet departmental objectives including: assisting in research, analysis and implementation of projects and/or programs based on defined outcomes and outputs; supporting development and delivery of projects and their successful completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
