Job summary

St Francis Catholic College, Cobblebank Campus, is part of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools and invites applications for a POL 3 House Leader to lead and grow the VET program and shape pathways for students through SBAT and workplace learning.

The successful candidate will work with students, staff, families, TAFEs and industry partners to drive compliance, innovation and program excellence, commencing January 2027 on a full-time basis.

Role Description/Criteria

St Francis Catholic College is a co-educational, multi-campus secondary school seeking a passionate and committed person to join its growing team. Known and respected for its learning and wellbeing programs, the College opened a new campus in Cobblebank in 2023 with an intake of 140 Year 7 students and will accommodate 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028. Our Year 7-12 Melton West campus, with its exceptional facilities and secondary pathways, is the foundation upon which our new campus will be modelled. POL 3 House Leader - Cobblebank Campus 2027

An exciting leadership opportunity exists for a passionate and organised educator to lead and grow the Vocational Education and Training (VET) program at our expanding Cobblebank Campus. This role plays a key part in shaping pathways for students through VET, SBAT and Structured Workplace Learning, while supporting VCE-VM and VPC learners to engage in meaningful, future-focused opportunities. Working closely with students, staff, families, TAFEs and industry partners, the VET Coordinator will drive compliance, innovation and program excellence, helping students build the skills, confidence and connections for life beyond school. If you’re passionate about leading others and making a meaningful impact, we invite you to join our supportive College community. Commencing January 2027, this is a full-time, POL 3 position.

Skills & Experience Required

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
• A strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College
• Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes
• An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• An eagerness to learn.

Special Requirements

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
