Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math, cash handling, and strong communication skills.
• Prior documented experience dealing poker or passing an audition is required.
• Prior Lead or Supervisory experience preferred.
• General knowledge of poker rules is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• Ability to pass background checks as required by the Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a positive attitude to guests and team members by initiating sincere contact.
• Protects and controls floor operations and gaming standards.
• Exhibit a personal leadership style that reflects professional excellence and integrity.
• Observe game, players, and dealers to ensure accuracy of the game and game protection.
• Inform guests and team members about promotions, events and services.
• Maintain knowledge of local gaming laws and internal controls.
• Promote department and property-wide promotions through standard communications.
• Enforce poker game policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide support to dealers with positive reinforcement and performance feedback.
• Create an atmosphere of Fun, Integrity, Respect, Service, and teamwork at all times.
• Work with ACT standards to maintain a professional environment.
• Direct day-to-day operations and escalate to the Director of Specialty Games as needed.
• Lead the poker bank, keys, chips, and card inventory.
• Ensure games move at appropriate pace and adjust staffing as needed.
• Maintain fair and orderly dealer rotation and seating.
• Answer the phone and assist guests with their needs.
• Make decisions on the game based on rules and fairness.
• Maintain accurate seating on the tables.
• Assist dealers with fills, color ups, card changes and floor calls.
