Job summary

Visy Logistics is expanding its Bulk Transport operations in Geelong, moving soda ash and limestone from supplier locations to our glass manufacturing facility. The role covers Geelong to Laverton and Geelong to Spotswood routes, with a Monday to Friday day shift and potential for more work as the operation grows.

You will operate B-Double pneumatic tankers, perform loading/unloading, ensure on-time deliveries and complete all reporting and compliance tasks, while upholding safety and a high

Qualifications

• MC Licence with Australian driving experience
• Experience operating B-Double combinations
• BFM accreditation or willingness to obtain
• Bulk tanker/pneumatic tanker/powder transport experience is valued
• Strong understanding of fatigue management and CoR requirements
• Ability to provide a 5-year demerit point history
• Ability to complete Visy’s Practical Driver Assessment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and teamwork
• Pride in vehicle presentation and care

• Load and unload in line with site requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery while adhering to schedules.
• Complete electronic reporting, compliance and transport documentation.
• Comply with policies, CoR, fatigue management and transport regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance promptly.
• Maintain safety, customer service and operational excellence.

Visy Logistics is expanding its Bulk Transport operations as part of the internalisation of critical raw material deliveries to the new Geelong Glass Plant. This exciting growth opportunity will see Visy establish a dedicated fleet transporting soda ash and limestone from key supplier locations into one of Australia's newest glass manufacturing facilities. Join a growing business committed to safety, operational excellence and customer service while building specialized capability within Queensland's bulk transport market.

Location: Geelong, VIC
Routes: Geelong to Laverton, Geelong to Spotswood with opportunities to support additional bulk transport work as the operation grows.
Shifts: Day Shift | Monday to Friday

What you'll do:

• Operate B-Double pneumatic tanker combinations safely and efficiently.
• Transport bulk powder products including soda ash and limestone.
• Conduct loading and unloading activities in accordance with customer and site requirements.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight while maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Complete all electronic reporting, compliance and transport documentation accurately.
• Comply with all company policies, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Fatigue Management and transport regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, customer service and operational excellence.

What you’ll bring:

• Current MC Licence with a minimum of 2 years' Australian driving experience.
• Proven experience operating B-Double combinations.
• Current BFM accreditation (highly regarded), or willingness to obtain accreditation with support provided to the successful applicant.
• Bulk tanker, pneumatic tanker or powder transport experience highly regarded (highly regarded).
• Strong understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
• Ability to provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Ability to complete Visy's Practical Driver Assessment.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance and teamwork.
• Pride in maintaining a high standard of vehicle presentation and care.
• Ability to consistently meet customer and compliance requirements.
