Job summary

Visy Global Logistics is seeking drivers based around Hemmant and Yatala depots to operate Semi or B-Double trucks, delivering Visy materials to sites across Brisbane. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and high-quality service.

You will perform pre-trip checks, maintain compliant driving practices and complete electronic reporting, while building strong customer relationships through reliable, on-time deliveries. Opportunities for career growth exist within Visy.

Qualifications

• HC/MC licence with minimum 2 years’ Australian driving experience.
• Experience with tautliners, flatbeds or container trailers.
• Strong knowledge of road rules, fatigue management and load restraint requirements.

• Operate Semi or B-Double trucks delivering Visy materials.
• Deliver to Visy sites around Brisbane QLD.
• Maintain safety and professionalism within the team.
• Perform thorough pre-trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Build strong relationships with customers through friendly service.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting and required documentation.
• Comply with Fatigue Management, Chain of Responsibility and load restraint guidelines.

Job description

Role Details:

Routes: Delivering to Visy sites as required around, Brisbane QLD.
Locations: Based out of Hemmant and Yatala depots.

Rates: Great hourly rate + Penalties + Allowances
Hours:Multiple positions. Metro hours AM & PM shifts, Monday - Friday

What you'll do:

• Running Semi or B-Double combinations.
• Delivering Visy material such as, but not limited to: Paper reels, Cardboard, Plastic and Glass to other Visy sites.
• Work in a team that values Safety and Professionalism.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Build strong relationships with our customers with friendly service.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies, state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What You Will Bring:

• A valid HC/MC Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience.
• Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
• Sound knowledge of the regional areas or interstate routes.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
