Job summary

Visy Global Logistics is seeking reliable HC/MC licensed drivers to support deliveries to Visy sites around Brisbane, QLD. Based at Hemmant and Yatala depots, you will operate semi or B-double configurations and ensure timely, safe deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid HC/MC licence with at least 2 years Australian driving experience.
• Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
• Good knowledge of regional Queensland routes or interstate routes.
• Excellent communication and time management with a safety-first mindset.
• Solid understanding of road, fatigue and load restraint laws.
• BFM certification or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in truck presentation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Run Semi or B-Double deliveries.
• Deliver Visy materials to Visy sites (paper reels, cardboard, plastic, glass).
• Work in a safety-focused, professional team.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections for roadworthiness.
• Build strong relationships with customers through friendly service.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting and required documentation.
• Comply with policies and transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and load restraint guidelines.

Job description

Routes: Delivering to Visy sites as required around, Brisbane QLD.
Locations: Based out of Hemmant and Yatala depots.

Rates: Great hourly rate + Penalties + Allowances
Hours: Multiple positions. Metro hours AM & PM shifts, Monday - Friday

What you'll do:

• Running Semi or B-Double combinations.
• Delivering Visy material such as, but not limited to: Paper reels, Cardboard, Plastic and Glass to other Visy sites.
• Work in a team that values Safety and Professionalism.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Build strong relationships with our customers with friendly service.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies, state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What You Will Bring:

• A valid HC/MC Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience.

• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• BFM Certification - or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
