Job summary

Future Generation Joint Venture seeks a PMO Director to govern performance, ensure project predictability, and uphold commercial integrity across a large mega-project in NSW, Australia. You will coordinate Planning, Cost Control, Reporting, Risk and Change Control, delivering strategic leadership and executive-level insights.

You will drive governance, baselines and forecasting, ensuring alignment with SHL requirements and JV governance while mentoring the PCO team and advancing digital

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, or a related field.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) - mandatory
• C Class Drivers Licence – mandatory

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the integrated Project Coordination function.
• Establish and maintain a unified PCO governance framework across planning, cost, risk, change, and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with contractual obligations, JV governance, and SHL reporting requirements.
• Serve as the executive authority on baselines, forecasting standards, and performance narratives.
• Advise on project budgets, baselines, and long-range forecasts.
• Ensure robust earned value management (EVM) and performance analysis.
• Lead performance reviews highlighting risks, trends, and critical schedule drivers.
• Maintain oversight of cost-to-complete, productivity trends, and contingency health.
• Deliver clear, concise, insight-driven reporting to FGJV leadership and SHL.
• Oversee production of weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance packs.
• Ensure risks and early warning indicators are embedded into forecasts.
• Provide executive oversight of change control processes.
• Lead integrated cost and schedule risk analysis.
