Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) is seeking a PMO Director to lead project controls, cost and schedule governance, and executive reporting for the Snowy 2.0 mega-project in remote, challenging areas of Australia. The role oversees planning, cost control, risk, and change governance, driving performance narratives and baseline alignment with SHL requirements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management.
• Professional certifications (AACE, PMI, ICE) desirable.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card) mandatory.
• C Class Drivers Licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the integrated Project Coordination function.
• Establish unified PCO governance across planning, cost, risk, change and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with JV governance and SHL reporting requirements.
• Executive authority on baselines, forecasting standards, and performance narratives.
• Advise on project budgets, baselines, and long-range forecasts.
• Oversee robust earned value management (EVM) and performance analysis.
• Deliver executive dashboards and weekly/monthly performance packs.
• Lead cost/time risk analysis and scenario planning.
• Drive digital Transformation and governance standardisation.
