Job summary

Allied Express in Brisbane's Archerfield depot is seeking a highly motivated Forklift Operator for express freight operations. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, starting at 12:30pm and finishing at 8:06pm, with overtime when required, and may include off-forklift duties.

You will process inbound and outbound freight to Allied and regulatory standards, use handheld scanners to sort, unload and distribute freight, perform manual handling, and help with housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift operations and freight handling.
• Ability to read and write English to a competent level.
• Adherence to safety procedures and regulations.

Allied Express requires highly motivated Forklift Operator, for our express freight operations based at our Archerfield depot.

You will carry out a mixture of duties in your role.

Full time role - Monday to Friday starting at 12:30pm to 20:06pm (Overtime when required)

Will be required to work off Forklift when requested.

You will support our inbound line-haul & freight processing operation.

Your Role:

Processing inbound and outbound freight according to Allied and regulatory standards ensuring it meets cut off deadlines.

Manual handling of freight in a team environment, use of handheld scanners to sort, unload, and distribute freight.

Helping out with additional tasks as required, including housekeeping.

Operating forklifts safely, moving pallets and freight to designated run bays/areas, loading and unloading of trucks when required.
