Job summary

Linfox Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an AM Transport Allocator to oversee transport allocations and route optimisation for metropolitan deliveries, with a 4 days on/4 days off roster and 12-hour night shifts from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM.

You will coordinate daily operations, maintain run sheets and schedules, and ensure safety and COR compliance while communicating clearly with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport load planning and fleet allocation is valued.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills; experience with TMS is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas.
• Able to work under pressure, stay organized, and be efficient.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Join our Retail team as an AM Transport Allocator and play a key role in keeping our operations moving. In this fast-paced, hands-on position, you'll be responsible for transport allocations, route optimisation, and coordinating metropolitan deliveries to ensure safe, efficient, and seamless daily operations. This position operates on a rolling four-days-on, four-days-off roster, with 12-hour shifts running from 10:00PM through to 10:00AM. Key areas:

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
• Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times

• Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure, remaining organized and highly efficient
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
