Job summary

O’Brien Plumbing Wyong is expanding and seeking a dynamic Plumbing Sales & Service Manager to oversee client relations, service delivery, and quoting. You will lead a fast-paced team, set targets, and drive growth while maintaining high workmanship standards.

You will be responsible for coordinating service staff, ensuring safety and compliance, and delivering an incomparable customer experience. This is a leadership role with autonomy and impact.

Qualifications

• Outstanding plumbing skills and job knowledge.
• Minimum of 10 years plumbing industry experience.
• Experience as a service manager preferred in a trade business.
• Certificate 4 including backflow & TMV courses.
• Clear criminal history and valid drivers licence.

We are a proud local family run business made up of quality-focused trade service professionals in the plumbing industry. In addition to the wealth of experience and knowledge within our teams, we are a registered member of the Master Plumbers Association.

Some of our key service areas include; Domestic / Commercial Plumbing maintenance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, dynamic, qualified Plumbing Sales & Service Manager to join our team. You will bring a positive attitude, be warm and friendly with excellent technical skills, great communication and an autonomous nature with the desire to own the role.

You will be joining a fast paced team environment in a Leadership position that includes a variety of responsibilities.

The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

• Ensure all site staff are enabled to provide an \"Incomparable Experience\" to all customers

• Provide timely quotations to existing and new customers, and converting opportunities into jobs


• Monitor budgets and costs on service jobs


• Monitor and provide estimates on plumbing jobs.


• Ensure that all executed jobs align to mission statement, vision, and values


• Participate actively in weekly management meeting and execute tactical and operational plans assigned


• Clearly communicate service department goals and KPIs to relevant staff

To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and attributes:

• Outstanding plumbing skills and job / product knowledge


• Minimum of 10 years plumbing industry experience


• Previous experience as a service manager (trade business prefered)


• Completed certificate 4 including \"backflow & TMV courses


• Clear criminal history (inline with specific customer requirements)


• Drivers licence - C class or above


• Proven ability to be organised and complete tasks on time


• Enjoy providing excellent customer service


• Excellent communication skills (by email and phone)


• Be a problem solver with the ability to think on your feet to resolve issues quickly


• Be able to manage multiple jobs at the same time


• Competent using all mainstream IT operating systems, including cloud based software systems (training will be provided for our specific operating systems)


• Have a warm and friendly personality
