Job summary

O'Brien Plumbing Wyong is seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our roofing Team in Wyong. Open to 3rd or 4th-year apprentices for immediate start. We handle metal roofing for domestic and commercial properties with ongoing work and growth opportunities.

The successful candidate will have strong roofing knowledge, be able to work unsupervised, and hold a current driver’s licence; trade qualification preferred. Join our award-winning team and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Strong communication skills with customers and team.
• Experience in all aspects of metal roofing.
• Experience with roof repairs on tile and metal roofs including re-gutting.
• Ability to complete roof reports and quotes.
• Experience and skills in roof diagnostics.
• Must have own general tools.
• Working at Heights and EWP training preferred.
• Current drivers licence.
• Trade qualified - Cert III in roof plumbing ideal.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain metal roofs on domestic and commercial buildings.
• Prepare roof reports and quotes for customers.
• Work as part of a roofing team to deliver projects on time.

O'Brien Plumbing Wyong is seeking an experienced Roof Plumber to join our roofing Team. Experienced 3rd or 4th-year apprentices will be considered also. These positions are available for immediate start.

We undertake all aspects of metal roofing, this includes domestic and commercial buildings, new and replacement roofs along with roof maintenance works. We have lots of ongoing work and there are excellent opportunities for progression.

The successful applicant will be a person that possesses the following skills and attributes:

• Has the ability to work unsupervised


• Has strong communication skills, the ability to deal confidently with customers, and the ability to work as part of a team


• Has had experience in all aspects of Metal Roofing.


• Has experience with roof repairs of both tile and metal roofs including re-gutting.


• Has the ability to complete roof reports and quotes.


• Has experienceand skills in roof diagnostics.


• Will have own general tools


• Will have undertaken Working at Heights and EWP training (preferably)


• Current drivers Licence


• Trade qualified - Cert III in roof plumbing (ideal)
