Job summary

Wyn&Co in Sydney is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to own a portfolio of commercial hydraulic projects across Greater Sydney, from procurement through construction to commissioning and handover.

You will lead site teams, manage labour, schedules and variations, and build strong relationships with builders and clients while ensuring quality, safety and on‑time delivery.

About the role

My client is a well-regarded commercial plumbing and hydraulics solutions provider. Delivering projects across Greater Sydney. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of commercial Plumbing hydraulic projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone who understands the work from the tools up. You'll manage projects from procurement and construction through to commissioning and handover, leading site teams and building strong relationships with builders and clients.

What you'll be doing

• Managing multiple commercial hydraulic and plumbing projects, typically valued at $1m to $5m+
• Leading site teams, including supervisors, leading hands and tradespeople
• Preparing and managing programs, and planning labour across projects
• Managing procurement, suppliers and subcontractors
• Liaising with builders, clients, consultants and other trades
• Managing variations, progress claims and the commercial performance of each project
• Overseeing quality, safety and compliance on site
• Coordinating commissioning, testing, defect rectification and handover

About you

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial hydraulic or plumbing packages
• Trade background in plumbing. You've come through the trade and understand how hydraulic work is built.
• Experience managing projects in the $1m to $5m+ range
• A strong understanding of hydraulic services and construction methodology
• Demonstrated experience with programming, labour management and running multiple projects at once
• Commercial skills, including variations, progress claims and cost control
• Confident working with builders and clients, and handling difficult conversations professionally
• Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
• Current NSW driver's licence
• Relevant licences and tickets (a plumbing licence, White Card and similar are highly regarded). [Add any essential requirements.]
• Tertiary qualifications in construction management or similar are an advantage, but not essential for the right person
