Our Client in Melbourne is seeking a quality Commercial Project Manager to contribute to an ambitious regional plan, drive the commercial sales strategy and manage the life cycle from inquiry to delivery.

You will build and retain strong partnerships with consultants, developers and other stakeholders, applying your trade/degree background in plumbing, engineering or related fields. The role offers a competitive base salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Trade/degree qualification in plumbing, hot water/pumps, engineering or related field
• Experience in project management, sales, engineering or related technical commercial role
• Some experience in hot water, heat pumps, plumbing or building services desirable
• Strong IT skills and CAD experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage the life cycle from initial enquiry through to project delivery, commissioning and any service schedules contracted with clients
• Contribute to an ambitious regional business plan to increase market share and drive the commercial sales strategy
• Develop and retain strong partnerships with consultants/specifiers, developers, energy retailers, builders, plumbers and wholesalers

The Role

The Commercial Project Manager – will be responsiblefor contributing to an ambitious regional business plan to increase market share and drive the commercial sales strategy.

The Commercial Project Manager will manage the life cycle from initial enquiry though to project delivery, commissioning and any service schedules contracted with clients.

Relationships will be a key component of the role alongside developing and retaining strong partnerships with existing and new key stakeholders such as consultants/specifiers, developers, energy retailers, builders, plumbers and wholesalers.
Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be welcomed into a very well established team and demonstrate the following key qualities:

• Trade/degree qualification, plumbing, hot water/pumps, engineering, or a related field
• Experience in project management, sales, engineering or a related technical commercial role
• Some experience of hot water, heat pumps, plumbing or building services would be desirable
• Strong IT skills and additional experience of CAD would be desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with a great solution focused approach
• Confident in communicating, sharing information and a great team player
