  • Building strong teams: Lead communication between field staff, management and clients, fostering accountability, collaboration and a positive team culture.

  • Driving safety and compliance: Conduct regular workplace safety and quality inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and company requirements.

  • Managing project finances: Oversee project budgets, financial performance, inventory and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and profitability.

  • Maintaining quality and assets: Manage quality control systems, plant and equipment maintenance programs, and associated registers.

  • Championing WH&S: Implement and uphold workplace health and safety practices that protect our people and meet legal and company standards.

  • Improving systems and processes: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve operational efficiency and implement effective business procedures.

  • Developing our people: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, inductions, employee performance and apprentice development.

  • Managing resources: Coordinate workforce requirements, employee management and company vehicle allocations.

  • Growing client relationships: Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing clients while developing new business opportunities.

  • Driving tender success: Oversee tender preparation, submissions and negotiations to maximise conversion rates and secure new projects.

  • Supporting business growth: Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and revenue target setting to help achieve our strategic objectives.

  • Representing Empire Plumbing: Build our industry presence through networking, relationship building and relevant industry events.
