Western Downs Regional Council in Dalby, QLD, is seeking a skilled operator to monitor, operate and maintain water and wastewater networks to ensure safe service delivery. You will meet statutory safety and environmental requirements, and uphold high customer service standards in a local government setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Plumbing & Drainage
• WH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card
• Open C Class Driver's Licence
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement traffic management plans and install/remove signs and devices

Formation

Certificate III in Plumbing & Drainage

Confined space, working at heights, trench shoring, MUTCH level 2, pipe welding or willingness to learn

Fit testing for tight fitting respirators within 3 months

About you

• Certificate III in Plumbing & Drainage
• WH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card
• Open C Class Driver's Licence
• Ability to read, interpret, and implement traffic management plans and install/remove signs and devices in accordance with procedures
• Other relevant competencies such as confined space, working at heights, trench shoring, MUTCH level 2, pipe welding or ability and willingness to learn
• Medium Rigid Class Driver's Licence or ability to attain within 12 months
• Ability to be 'fit tested' for tight fitting respirators within the first three (3) months of employment and maintain compliance with 'fit-testing' standards
