Job summary

Champ Facilities Management is seeking a motivated plumber to join our team in a mining camp on a 7/7 dayshift roster in the Blackwater region. The role focuses on general plumbing maintenance, repairs and preventative work across camp accommodation and site facilities.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate III in Plumbing, QBCC Plumber licence, and a current Driver's Licence, with the ability to pass a drug screen. Camp environment experience and related certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Plumbing Trade Certificate and QBCC Plumbing licence required.
• Current Driver's Licence and ability to pass Drug and Alcohol Screen desired.
• Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 advantageous.

Responsibilities

• General plumbing repairs and maintenance throughout the camp.
• Repairing leaking taps, toilets, showers and sinks.
• Unblocking toilets, drains and wastewater lines.
• Maintaining hot-water systems and replacing faulty components.
• Collaborating with electricians, maintenance trades and facilities staff as needed.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Cert III in Plumbing Trade Certificate - QBCC Plumbing licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Current Coal Board Medical (Advantageous)
• Current Standard 11 (Advantageous)
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen
