Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ – Toowoomba QLD is seeking qualified Plumbers to join a dynamic maintenance team at a large-scale meat processing facility. The role focuses on maintaining plumbing infrastructure, trade waste systems, and plant equipment, working alongside other trades to support daily operations.

You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and on-site servicing with a strong emphasis on safety, quality workmanship, and career development within a supportive environment

Qualifications

• Trade qualified plumber with relevant Australian certifications.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, food processing, mining, or heavy industry is highly regarded.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to contribute to a long-term team environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other trades.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain plant amenities and plumbing infrastructure across the site.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipework systems.
• Maintain and repair valves, non-return valves, knee wands, and associated equipment.
• Remove, replace, and maintain pumps and related mechanical components.
• Manage and maintain trade waste and drainage systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve reliability.
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the site alongside the wider maintenance team.
• Maintain plant tools, equipment, and work areas to a high standard.
• Uphold strict safety standards and site compliance requirements.
