Job summary

Kinetic IT in Sydney is seeking a Platform Lead to shape how ServiceNow is delivered across customer environments. This hybrid role based in Sydney involves working on customer sites with flexibility to work from home and across platforms.

You will own the ServiceNow platform service, ensuring stability, security and governance while collaborating with stakeholders, platform owners and technical teams to align with business needs and drive continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in service delivery or platform ownership for complex environments.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform, with admin-level knowledge or hands-on experience.
• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Platform Owner) are advantageous.
• Customer-first approach focusing on service quality, governance and performance.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job description

We're looking for a Platform Lead to shape how ServiceNow is delivered across key customer environments. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, working across customer sites with flexibility to work from home.

This role is all about taking ownership of the ServiceNow platform service and making sure it runs well for the customer. You'll work closely with customer stakeholders, platform owners, and technical teams to keep ServiceNow stable, secure, well governed, and aligned to business needs.

The focus will be on service quality, platform performance, demand, enhancements, and continual improvement, helping customers get the most value from ServiceNow.

About You

• Experience in service delivery, service performance, platform ownership or product ownership, ideally supporting complex customer environments.
• A strong understanding of ServiceNow as a platform, ideally with administration-level knowledge or hands-on experience that helps you lead platform conversations with confidence.
• ServiceNow certifications are highly regarded, particularly where they show platform ownership, administration, ITSM delivery, or governance capability, such as ServiceNow Certified Platform Owner.
• A customer-first approach, with a clear focus on service quality, platform performance, governance, reporting, demand management and ongoing improvement.
• The confidence to work with technical and non-technical people, including developers, platform teams, service delivery teams and customer stakeholders.
