Job summary
ASX is seeking a Software Engineer – Trading Platform Integration Services to design, build and operate integration capabilities that connect ASX Trade with internal platforms, regulatory systems and enterprise data ecosystems.
You will deliver modern API, event-streaming and data integration patterns enabling secure, reusable access to trading data while accelerating delivery through reusable components and automation.
Qualifications
- Must have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software systems.
- Proven experience building APIs, integration services and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of service-oriented and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with software delivery pipelines and modern development practices.
- Knowledge of secure software development principles.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and support integration services, APIs and event-driven data capabilities.
- Design and implement API-first integration capabilities.
- Establish reusable integration patterns across the trading ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain service contracts, interface specs and integration standards.
- Enable secure access to trading platform data and capabilities.
- Contribute to integration modernization across legacy and strategic platforms.
- Build event-driven services for market and operational data distribution.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and observability.
