Job summary

Ticketek Entertainment Group is seeking a Platform Engineer to drive a CI/CD modernisation program across ~250 repositories in AWS. You will join a hands-on team migrating from a legacy system to self-contained per-repo pipelines, with canary deployments, automated rollback, and multi-region orchestration.

You will work with GitLab CI pipelines, migrate services, and contribute to platform evolution while coordinating with development teams and documenting decisions for future templates.

Qualifications

• Deep DevOps and AWS expertise with GitLab CI/CD
• Experience migrating from legacy CI/CD systems
• Strong shell scripting and AWS CLI fluency

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Engineering & Delivery: Build and ship CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI with canary deployments and automated rollback.
• Service Migration: Migrate services from legacy deployment to per-repo pipelines with zero-risk cutover.
• Pre-Migration Audit: Evaluate each service before touching its pipeline to identify what to keep or remove.
• Technical Execution: Make pragmatic engineering decisions within the architecture, raising deviations when needed.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with development teams during migration and coordinate deployment windows.
• Documentation: Record decisions and fixes in the repo and improve templates and patterns.
• Contributing to Platform Evolution: Contribute to shared templates, CDK constructs, and tooling.
