Job summary

NTT DATA in Canberra is seeking an experienced MS Engineer L2 (Platform) to join our Network Operations Centre. You will support and maintain enterprise platform infrastructure in a 24x7 environment, ensuring reliability, availability and performance of critical services.

The role requires hands-on experience with Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtualization, automation tooling, and a strong grasp of change control, security governance and incident management.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience supporting enterprise platform infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux server environments.
• Strong experience with virtualization technologies including VMware.
• Experience supporting complex infrastructure deployments and production environments.
• Experience managing change control processes and operational support activities.
• Exposure to managed services environments and IT operational frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise ticketing platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a 24x7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, maintaining, and improving enterprise platform infrastructure within a managed services environment.
• Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents and service requests within SLAs.
• Planning, coordinating, and implementing infrastructure changes within approved change windows.
• Monitoring performance, availability, and capacity across supported systems.
• Developing and improving automation to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Mentoring Level 1 engineers and documenting procedures.
• Operating within security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
