Job summary

Silverlink Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer in Sydney to design and deliver scalable internal developer platforms. You will drive automation, GitOps workflows, and self-service deployment solutions in a contract-based role.

You will work across AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling to build reusable deployment templates and IDP capabilities, enabling rapid, reliable software delivery while maintaining secure, least-privilege access controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building scalable internal developer platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AWS multi-account architecture.
• Proficient with Terraform IaC and reusable modules.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows.

Job Description:

Looking for a Platform Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes and Platform Engineering. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in building scalable internal developer platforms, infrastructure automation, GitOps and self-service deployment solutions.

Key Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in AWS multi-account architecture and Linux system engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and reusable modules.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and container platforms.
• Strong expertise in ArgoCD, GitOps and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Golden Paths and reusable deployment templates.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash or Shell scripting and API/CLI automation.
• Knowledge of IAM, least-privilege access, security automation and policy-as-code.
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging and reliability engineering.
• Good understanding of self-service infrastructure provisioning and platform automation.
