Job summary

10x Labs is seeking a Data Onboarding Engineer to own end-to-end data integration for client platforms, from scoping to production data. You will map source data to platform models and build pipelines that move data securely and efficiently.

You’ll work between client data teams and our engineers, driving data quality, resolving surprises, and contributing to automation roadmap. This role blends analytics, data engineering, and client leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and Python data wrangling experience.
• Experience on data migration or system integration with external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and produce technical specs, data models and API docs without supervision.
• Comfort with ambiguity: data will be messy and priorities may shift.
• Clear plain-language communication with non-technical client teams.

Responsibilities

• Run data onboarding for client platforms from scoping to production-ready data.
• Identify and extract data from source systems: metering, GIS, SCADA, ERPs.
• Map source data to platform models and document mappings, transformations and exceptions.
• Build and run ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations: REST APIs, file exchange, event streams.
• Profile and validate incoming data, resolve gaps, duplicates and unit mismatches.
• Translate learnings into automation roadmap to reduce manual steps.
