Job summary

P&M Plastics, part of HB Plastics Group, is hiring a full-time Plastic Fabricator at our Gold Coast workshop. We manufacture and fabricate engineering plastics, acrylic (Perspex) and signage/display products for trade and retail customers.

On-the-job training and a supportive, family-owned environment. Join a small production team to contribute to precise fabrication, finishing, and quality checks to meet daily deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and pride in a clean finish.
• Comfortable using workshop power tools and machinery.
• Ability to read basic drawings/measurements.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and a good team player.
• Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential.
• Trade or workshop experience in fitting, machining, signage or similar hands-on trades.
• Background in cabinet making, joinery, or shopfitting welcome.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, gluing, fabricating and finishing plastic sheet and fabricated products
• Reading job cards/drawings and working to precise measurements
• Using workshop machinery (Panel saw, welding/bonding equipment)
• Quality checking finished pieces
• Keeping the workshop safe and organised
