Job summary

Suncoast Waste Water Management on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a practical, hands-on manufacturing assistant to join our production team. You will operate equipment, handle raw materials, load moulds, monitor processes, and perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet our standards.

You will work a 4-day week with a 4am start and must hold a forklift licence. Training will be provided for the right candidate, particularly those with plastics or manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Reliable and physically fit with the ability to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Willing to learn and adapt to manufacturing processes and quality checks.
• Forklift licence required; training available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operating and assisting with manufacturing equipment.
• Measuring and handling raw materials such as polyethylene.
• Loading and unloading moulds and production equipment.
• Monitoring the manufacturing process.
• Removing finished products from moulds.
• Trimming, drilling, cleaning and finishing products.
• Carrying out quality checks and measurements.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Following production procedures and workplace safety requirements.
