Job summary

Splash Group Australia is seeking an experienced plasterer for insurance restoration and repair work across residential and commercial properties in Brisbane and surrounds. The role focuses on high-quality plastering after water, fire, or other damage, with emphasis on customer service and reliable scheduling.

You will join a supportive team, operate with a company vehicle and fuel card, and contribute to organised, safe job sites.

Qualifications

• Proven plastering experience, especially in insurance restoration or maintenance jobs.
• Ability to match existing finishes to a high standard.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plasterboard installation, repairs, and replacements.
• Patch and match finishes to high standards.
• Install and repair cornices.
• Set, sand, and finish surfaces.
• Do minor framing and carpentry related to plaster repairs.
• Assess damage and provide onsite repair solutions.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments.
• Liaise with homeowners, tenants, and project managers.
• Complete required job documentation and photos.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team specialising in insurance restoration and repair work. This role involves carrying out high-quality plastering repairs following water damage, fire damage, impact damage, and other insurance-related building claims.

You will work across residential and commercial properties, delivering professional results while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plasterboard installation, repairs, and replacements
• Patch and match existing finishes to a high standard
• Cornice installation and repairs
• Stopping, setting, sanding, and finishing
• Minor framing and carpentry associated with plaster repairs
• Assess damage and provide repair solutions onsite
• Maintain clean and safe work environments
• Liaise professionally with homeowners, tenants, and project managers
• Complete required job documentation and photos

About You

• Proven experience in insurance or maintenance-style plastering work
• Strong attention to detail and ability to match existing finishes
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Current driver's licence
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
