Job summary

Concrite’s Moss Vale concrete plant seeks a capable supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a safety-first team, and coordinate with drivers and internal stakeholders. You will manage material orders, oversee plant tasks, and drive cost control while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

The role requires experience supervising concrete operations, strong computer skills, and flexibility to cover multiple responsibilities. A FEL and forklift licence are valued assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing/supervising teams in the concrete industry.
• Strong computer and system skills with batching experience preferred.
• Willingness to cover several responsibilities across the plant.
• FEL licence and forklift licence will be highly regarded.
• Commitment to safety and zero harm.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and supervise yard and plant tasks.
• Coordinate with fleet of agitator drivers and internal teams.
• Order raw materials and manage stock of cement, sand, aggregates and additives.
• Lead safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolbox talks and incident reporting.
• Manage costs and raise purchase orders; liaise with stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure housekeeping and maintenance standards across the plant.

Are you passionate about building a sustainable future? Do you want to contribute to exciting commercial and residential infrastructure in your community? Lead and support our dynamic team at Concrite’s Moss Vale concrete plant. The primary focus of this role will be to oversee operations and will involve day-to-day decision making, delegation of tasks and enforcement of safety rules, policies and procedures.

Your day will involve:

• Communicating and coordinating with fleet of agitator drivers.
• Ordering raw material stock of cement, sand, aggregates, additive chemicals, etc.
• Facilitate safety initiatives including pre-starts, toolboxes, and incident reporting.
• General supervision of yard housekeeping, maintenance and plant operations as required.
• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders (customers, dispatching team, management, etc.)
• Manage and oversee costs and raising of purchase orders.
