Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council seeks a Plant Operator for Sports Park Infrastructure based at the Principal Depot in Charlton. The role focuses on safe operation of plant and equipment and supervising a small team as required, delivering efficient services across sports park facilities.

You will work under limited supervision; the position features a 38-hour week with $1,307.56 gross and 17.5% annual leave loading plus up to 12.65% superannuation, with a rostered day off each month and salary

Qualifications

• WHS competency (White Card) CPCWHS1001 or equivalent.
• ACDC spraying certificate desirable.
• Certificate III in Horticulture desirable.
• Working at Heights certificate desirable.
• Technical, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Accountability and communication ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment in a sports parks environment.
• Provide hands-on supervision of a small team as required.
• Ensure staff and public safety while delivering services.
• Contribute to efficient delivery of park infrastructure.
