Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Plant Operator in the grasscontrol section of the Parks & Recreation Services Branch. The role focuses on efficiently operating plant and equipment to manage vegetation within the Toowoomba Region’s Open Space areas, with occasional supervision of casual teams during peak periods.

The position offers full-time permanent employment at the Principal Depot in Charlton, with a weekly gross of $1,307.56 plus benefits, and opportunities for flex time and

Competenze

• WHS competency (White Card) for CPCWHS1001 or equivalent.
• Current MR Driver’s Licence, or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• ACDC Spraying certificate highly desirable.
• Working in Proximity to Traffic (Part 1 and 2), or willingness to obtain within 3 months.
• Demonstrated ability to operate a variety of machinery.
• Interpersonal and communication skills; leadership and teamwork.
• Ability to perform physical labor and stay accountable.
