Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council seeks a Plant Operator for Sports Park Infrastructure based at the Principal Depot in Charlton. The role focuses on safe operation of plant and equipment and supervising a small team as required, delivering efficient services across sports park facilities.

You will work under limited supervision; the position features a 38-hour week with $1,307.56 gross and 17.5% annual leave loading plus up to 12.65% superannuation, with a rostered day off each month and salary

Qualifications

• WHS competency (White Card) CPCWHS1001 or equivalent.
• ACDC spraying certificate desirable.
• Certificate III in Horticulture desirable.
• Working at Heights certificate desirable.
• Technical, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Accountability and communication ability.

About the position

The Plant Operator is required toensure that staff, members of the public, and other stakeholdersremain safe while achieving the efficient delivery of desiredlevels of service for sports park infrastructure within theToowoomba region. Primarily, the incumbent is responsible for theoperation of plant and equipment in a sports parks environment, aswell as providing hands on supervision of a small team as requiredfrom time to time.

This position will work underlimited supervision.
