Job summary

Ridley Corporation in Cairns is seeking a safety-focused Operator to join our Product Distribution Centre. You will support safe production, handling, storage and dispatch of fertiliser products while upholding zero-harm standards.

This hands-on role offers the opportunity to operate fixed and mobile plant, complete ERP transactions (SAP/D365) and work with a collaborative site team in a leading Australian animal nutrition company.

Qualifications

Experience operating fixed and/or mobile plant in production, manufacturing, logistics or distribution.
Commitment to safety, health and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

Safely operate fixed and mobile plant equipment to support production, handling, storage and dispatch activities.
Complete production and dispatch activities in accordance with schedules, quality standards and site procedures.
Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues to support plant reliability.
Accurately complete operational records and ERP transactions (SAP/D365).
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance across the site.
Follow safe work procedures and contribute to Ridley’s Zero Harm culture.
Collaborate with colleagues, contractors and transport providers to achieve operational and customer service outcomes.
Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational performance.
