Job summary

Ridley Corporation Ltd in Cairns is seeking a safety-focused Operator for our Product Distribution Centre. You will support safe production, handling, storage and dispatch of fertiliser products while maintaining high safety, quality and service standards.

This hands-on role requires experience operating fixed and mobile plant, a Queensland driver's licence, and a collaborative approach. ERP experience (SAP/D365) is desirable, as is loader competency.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fixed and/or mobile plant in production or logistics.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Current Queensland Driver Licence.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or D365 is desirable.
• Loader or mobile plant competency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fixed and mobile plant equipment to support production, product handling, storage and dispatch activities
• Complete production and dispatch activities in accordance with operational schedules, quality standards and site procedures
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues to support plant reliability
• Accurately complete operational records and ERP transactions (SAP/D365)
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance across the site
• Follow safe work procedures and actively contribute to Ridley's Zero Harm culture
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and transport providers to achieve operational and customer service outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational performance
