Ridley Corporation in Cairns is seeking a safety-focused Operator to join our Product Distribution Centre. You will support safe production, handling, storage and dispatch of fertiliser products while upholding zero-harm standards.

This hands-on role offers the opportunity to operate fixed and mobile plant, complete ERP transactions (SAP/D365) and work with a collaborative site team in a leading Australian animal nutrition company.

Formación

• Experience operating fixed and/or mobile plant in production, manufacturing, logistics or distribution.
• Commitment to safety, health and environmental compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate fixed and mobile plant equipment to support production, handling, storage and dispatch activities.
• Complete production and dispatch activities in accordance with schedules, quality standards and site procedures.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance issues to support plant reliability.
• Accurately complete operational records and ERP transactions (SAP/D365).
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and environmental compliance across the site.
• Follow safe work procedures and contribute to Ridley’s Zero Harm culture.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contractors and transport providers to achieve operational and customer service outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity and operational performance.

The key skills required for this role include:

• Experience operating fixed and/or mobile plant within a production, manufacturing, logistics or distribution environment
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental compliance
• Current Queensland Driver Licence
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Sound computer skills, including experience with ERP systems such as SAP or D365 (desirable)
• Loader or other mobile plant competency (desirable)
