Job summary

Boral Limited is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator to join our Asphalt Crews in Williamstown. You will operate mobile plant equipment and perform hand labouring tasks to deliver a quality product in a safe environment.

Based in Williamstown and reporting to the Foreman, you will support safety initiatives and maintain trucks and equipment in a 24/7 operation as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in an asphalt crew or civil construction.
• Current Heavy Vehicle driver's license or Mobile Equipment National Competency.
• Willingness to work across a 24/7 operation including nights and weekends.

Your next opportunity:

We are excited to announce an opportunity is available for an Asphalt Plant Operator to join our Asphalt Crews in Williamstown.

Based in Williamstown and reporting to the Foreman, we are looking for an experienced and committed Asphalt crew member, whose primary responsibility will be to operate the mobile construction equipment for road surfacing works as well as general hand labouring work.

Your day will involve:

• Safely and efficiently operate asphalt mobile plant equipment
• Participate in site safety and business improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Boral OH&S policies, meeting safety and environmental standards
• Contribute to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment
• Maintain company trucks and plant equipment

• A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
• A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to contribute to a high-performing team
• Demonstrated experience working within an Asphalt crew or civil construction environment
• A current Heavy Vehicle driver's license or Mobile Equipment National Competency will be highly regarded
• A proven ability to work within an Asphalt team environment and,
• Flexibility to work across a 24/7 operation, including weekdays, weekends and night shift work when required
