Job summary

Boral Asphalt in Brisbane is seeking a permanent Logistics Support Officer to provide high quality administrative services to the QLD/WA Asphalt Logistics team. Based in Eagle Farm/Whinstanes, you will process and maintain heavy vehicle data for company and contractor fleets, ensuring compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law.

You will manage onboarding, licences, insurances, inductions and documentation, and support reporting, audits and continuous improvement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Administration experience in logistics, transport, fleet or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisation and time management.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders.
• Proactive in identifying process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor, driver and vehicle onboarding.

Your next opportunity

We are actively seeking a motivated Logistics Support Officer to provide high quality and timely administrative services to the Boral QLD/WA Asphalt Logistics team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity based in Eagle Farm/ Whinstanes, reporting to the Logistics and Allocations Manager. This role is primarily responsible for processing, maintaining, and reporting heavy vehicle company and contractor, vehicle, and driver data. As an integral member of the division, the role supports Boral’s regulatory and compliance obligations in accordance with the Heavy Vehicle National Law, ensuring accurate records are maintained across both company-operated and contractor-managed fleet operations.

Your day will involve:

• Coordinating contractor, driver and vehicle onboarding requirements
• Managing licences, insurances, inductions and compliance documentation
• Maintaining accurate records across fleet and contractor management systems
• Supporting heavy vehicle compliance and transport safety requirements
• Coordinating medicals, accreditation renewals and compliance activities
• Assisting with reporting, audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Liaising with contractors, drivers and operational teams to resolve enquiries and maintain compliance
• Contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our Asphalt Logistics function

What are we looking for?

• Previous administration experience in logistics, transport, fleet, operations or a similar environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• A proactive approach with a willingness to identify and improve processes
• Experience working in compliance-focused environments will be highly regarded
