Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Plant Operator to join a large lentil/pea processing facility in Vanscoy, Saskatchewan. This entry-level, full-time position offers hourly pay and opportunities to cross-train across operations, with a path toward an Operator role as the business needs grow.

You’ll receive training, work in a safety‑driven environment, and perform sanitation tasks following GMP guidelines. Pre-employment medicals and reference checks are required.

Qualifications

  • The successful candidate must possess good communication skills, the ability to follow directions, and most importantly perform various tasks safely and independently in a production environment.
  • The successful applicant must be able to work from heights, stand, sit, kneel, crawl, and bend.
  • Needs to be able to work in a variety of hot, cold, or wet conditions.
  • Shift work, overtime, and weekends will be required.
  • Basic computer skills, numeracy and record accuracy are also necessary.
  • There is room for further advancement in this role.

About the Position
