Archer Daniels Midland Company in Midland, Ontario is seeking an entry-level Production Support – Utility to assist daily plant operations. You will help with sanitation, material handling, and basic maintenance while upholding food safety standards in a large-scale milling facility.

Ideal candidates show a strong work ethic, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and weekends are part of rotating shift schedules, with opportunities for growth

Responsibilities

• Perform general sanitation and cleaning duties across the facility
• Handle materials and assist with production processes
• Support light maintenance and basic troubleshooting activities
• Follow and uphold GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Work safely in a variety of environments (heights, confined spaces, hot/cold/wet conditions)
• Operate in physically demanding conditions, including lifting up to 55 lbs (22 kg)
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient production environment
• Complete all other duties as required to support operations

Position - Production Support – Utility

Location: Midland, Ontario
Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
Shift: Rotating shifts, including overtime and weekends

About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Plant Utility team member to join our flour milling operation in Midland, Ontario. This is an entry‑level opportunity within a large‑scale manufacturing facility, offering hands‑on experience and a clear path for growth into operational roles. In this role, you’ll support daily plant operations through sanitation, material handling, and basic maintenance while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and workplace safety are maintained.

What You’ll Do

• Perform general sanitation and cleaning duties across the facility
• Handle materials and assist with production processes
• Support light maintenance and basic troubleshooting activities
• Follow and uphold GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
• Work safely in a variety of environments (heights, confined spaces, hot/cold/wet conditions)

Education and Experience
