Elevate Construction Group QLD is seeking an experienced Operator to join our Brisbane team on a full-time basis. You will operate excavators between 6 and 14 tonnes, plus track loaders, rollers and other plant as needed.

You will assist with groundworks, footings, subgrade preparation and various earthworks duties for building and concrete works, reading drawings where possible, and supporting the crew with set-out and concrete prep.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators between 6–14 tonnes and the ability to dig detailed footings.
• Proactive attitude and reliable on-site performance.
• Own ute and basic toolkit preferred; PPE compliance required.

Responsabilités

• Read drawings (Civil/structural) where possible and work with site crew on set-out and concrete prep.

Elevate Construction Group QLD is seeking an experienced Operator to join our team in Brisbane. This is a full-time position where you will be required to operate mainly excavators between 6 and 14 ton size, also track loaders, rollers, and other plant where required.

The operator will be required to work within our own construction team helping to dig footings, prepare subgrades of sand or road base and be directed for all earthworks duties required for building and concrete works.

on the tools to assist with work such as building set out, concrete preparation and placement, steel fixing, basic slab on ground formwork, road base placement and compaction and occasionally driving different types of machinery such as excavators, track loaders, forklifts and tippers.

The role involves working as part of a small crew doing projects of various sizes - from specialty small works up to warehouse slabs and new building footings and pavements.

A company vehicle and fuel card is available after probation.

The applicant must have:

Experience operating excavators between 6-14 ton size, and the ability to dig detailed footings.

Proactive and positive attitude towards work, colleagues, clients and others on site.

Be presentable, clean and tidy. Must wear PPE as required.

Punctual and reliable.

Have your own ute and basic tool kit. Company vehicles are available after probation.

Must be willing to assist with ground works when in between operating duties.

Ability to read drawings (Civil and structural) highly advantageous.

Be an Australian citizen, have an Australian driver's license and be able to obtain a clean police check. (Defence sites requirement)
