Job summary

Ora Banda Mining in Western Australia is seeking a Metallurgist to support the processing plant as the company scales towards 300 koz gold production. You will monitor performance, review process parameters and contribute to plant optimisation projects.

The role requires a tertiary degree in metallurgy or related field, at least 1 year post-graduate experience in gold ore processing, strong reporting and data management skills, proficient with MS Office, and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in metallurgy, chemical engineering, process engineering or equivalent.
• 1 year post graduate metallurgy experience in gold ore processing.
• Good working knowledge of laboratory and metallurgical testing procedures.
• Demonstrated skills in report writing, spreadsheets, databases, costing systems, cost control, process plant planning and scheduling, budgets and forecasts.
• Sound verbal communication skills.
• Good organisation and planning skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office software.
• Current AUS manual drivers licence.

The role
