Job summary

Bhullar Engineering Pty Ltd in Narrandera NSW is seeking a Support Technician to join our engineering team on a full-time permanent basis. You will work closely with engineers to keep plant machinery and mechanical systems running safely and efficiently, ensuring fabricated steel products meet high quality standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assembling and testing systems, inspecting gear and hydraulic components, and producing detailed maintenance reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years' experience as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or similar.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic and general arrangement drawings.
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machinery, machine-related tools and parts in proper operating condition.
• Assemble, test and install mechanical systems at the plant.
• Inspect equipment and record test procedures and recommended changes.
• Review drawings and blueprints to verify test specs and procedures.
• Evaluate design drawings for new or modified tools against specs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and troubleshoot equipment.
• Disassemble equipment to reach defective parts and repair/replace.
• Repair and maintain mechanical drives, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
