Job summary

Bhullar Group in Narrandera NSW is seeking a Project Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in heavy structural steel fabrication and project management for a full-time role at 5 Drover Place. You will work closely with workshop teams, clients and suppliers to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget, coordinating procurement, drawings review, inspections and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in heavy structural steel fabrication and project management.
• Understanding of fabrication processes, welding, assembly and quality requirements.
• Confidence interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience managing costs, schedules, procurement and project variations.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on approach and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Managing project scope, schedules, budgets and key milestones.
• Reviewing engineering drawings, specifications and fabrication requirements.
• Coordinating procurement, workshop fabrication, inspections and delivery.
• Tracking project progress and resolving technical and production issues.
• Managing variations, project documentation and progress reporting.
• Supporting quality assurance and compliance with relevant standards.
• Maintaining clear communication between clients, engineering teams and the workshop.
