Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking experienced Crane & Plant Mechanics in Perth to service and repair telehandlers, cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment. Training will be provided on all equipment with career progression into Product Support/Management.

Ideal candidates have Plant/Heavy Diesel/Crane or Auto Electrical backgrounds, strong fault-finding skills, and a current driver licence. OEM training, a company vehicle, and long-term opportunities await in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Plant Mechanic, Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Crane Technician or Auto Electrician.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on heavy machinery or plant.
• Current Driver Licence and safety focus.
• Crane experience is advantageous but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and repairs of telehandlers, mobile cranes, forklifts and other lifting equipment.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Carry out inspections and repairs to heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and auto electrical systems.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Work safely and in accordance with site and company requirements.
• Attend customer sites and provide technical support when required.

Plant Mechanic/Crane Technician/Heacy Diesel (Cranes, Forklifts, Telehandlers, Material Handling equipment) $50-$65 per hour + Super + OEM TrainingPerth

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Crane & Plant Mechanics. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse range of equipment, including mobile cranes, telehandlers, forklift, material handling equipment. Candidates from a Plant, Heavy Diesel, Earthmoving or Auto Electrical background will also be considered, with full training provided on the equipment and OEM products.Training provided on all equipment. The role offers genuine long-term progression, with opportunities to move into Product Support, Technical Support and Management positions.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Need

• Relevant trade qualification highly regarded
• Current Driver Licence
• Strong commitment to safety
• Crane experience is advantageous but not essential - training will be provided
