Job summary

HiQ Group is seeking a Plant Mechanic to perform on-site and off-site diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a range of heavy and light vehicles, earthmoving machinery, crushers, screens, and fixed or mobile plant. The role focuses on safe, reliable operation and high-quality service for our clients in NSW.

You will report issues, complete paperwork accurately, and apply risk management while working efficiently.

Qualifications

• Mechanically trade-qualified and eligible to work in Australia.
• Experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing CAT, KOMATSU and VOLVO equipment.
• Strong service background with a proven track record.
• Hold an Australian MR minimum driving licence (or able to obtain).
• High level of communication skills and team orientation.
• Able to work autonomously with a commitment to safety.
• Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical.
• Light vehicle experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out on- and off-site diagnosis, repairs, routine inspection and servicing of equipment and machinery.
• Completing all required paperwork accurately and effectively.
• Apply risk management strategies when completing tasks in the work environment.
