Job summary

Bisalloy, Australia’s only quenched and tempered steel producer, is seeking an experienced Plant Electrician for the Unanderra maintenance team. You’ll support a continuous production environment, performing fault-finding on 415V plant and equipment while responding to shift calls.

Working across day, afternoon and night shifts, you’ll team with production crews and three other electricians to keep the plant operating safely and reliably, upholding safety, quality and efficiency standards.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified electrician with experience in heavy industry.

Bisalloy is seeking an experienced Plant Electrician to join the maintenance team at its Unanderra manufacturing facility.

Rotating work across day, afternoon and night shifts, you will provide electrical support in a continuous production environment, responding to shift calls, fault-finding, and maintaining a diverse range of low-voltage plant and equipment, predominantly around 415V.

The plant provides plenty of variety, including cranes, furnaces, material transfer systems, PLC-controlled equipment and variable-frequency drives. You will work closely with production crews and alongside three other electricians to keep the plant operating safely and reliably.

We are looking for a trade-qualified electrician with experience in heavy industry, manufacturing or a similarly demanding operating environment. Strong fault-finding capability, practical industrial experience and, above all, a genuine commitment to safety will be important.
