Job summary

Autocycle International in Stapylton is hiring mobile plant and machinery operators to support our recycling operations. Job description

Autocycle International is seeking motivated, reliable and capable individuals to join our team at our brand-new recycling facility in Stapylton.

We have opportunities for a mobile plant and machinery operators to support our recycling operations. This role is hands-on and involve operating forklifts, mobile plant and recycling machinery, maintaining a safe and tidy workplace, and working collaboratively to achieve daily production targets.

Training will be provided to ensure the successful Shift Supervisor is equipped to perform the role effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Operating forklifts (a current forklift licence is required).

• Operating recycling machinery, including shredders, rasper, cracker mill and granulation line.

• Operating skid-steer equipment (experience preferred but not essential).

• Performing general manual labour as required.

• Maintaining good housekeeping standards and keeping the work area clean and organised.

• Completing handwritten production run sheets and other operational forms accurately.

• Following work instructions, safety procedures and operational requirements.

• Working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Demonstrating strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety.

Working Hours

• Days: Monday to Friday

• Hours: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm

• Employment type: Casual, with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment after three months.

• Probation: A six-month probation period will apply following the transition to full-time employment, with the three months already completed as a casual employee taken into account as applicable.
