Job summary

Visy invites a skilled Plant Accountant to partner with site leadership and provide financial insight across a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment in Yatala. You will report to the Financial Controller and influence profitability, performance and continuous improvement through data-driven analysis.

Ideally you are CA/CPA qualified with manufacturing experience, strong SAP skills, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• Experience in a Plant, Management or Commercial Accounting role.
• Background within manufacturing, FMCG or a complex operational environment.
• Strong SAP skills; Hyperion and Essbase experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, translating data into actionable business insights.
• Own month-end accounting activities, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance management processes across the business.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, providing insights on key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with operational stakeholders to drive productivity, cost optimisation and financial outcomes.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance across all areas of responsibility.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
