Job summary

Zurich Australia is seeking a Planning and Performance Analyst within our Claims function. You will shape performance, planning and direction for a key customer-facing area, turning data into insights to support smarter decisions and better outcomes.

You’ll drive forecasting, dashboards and analytics to enable operational excellence and contribute to AI-driven initiatives that create measurable value for customers and the business.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing performance measurement frameworks and reporting solutions.
• Proven ability to analyse data within a General Insurance environment.
• Experience with back-office workforce planning and scheduling.
• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and planning experience in a corporate environment.
• Advanced capability using SQL and Power BI to develop insights, reporting and dashboards.
• Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy with measurable performance outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analysing performance trends, KPIs and key business metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

As a Planning and Performance Analyst within our Claims business, you'll play a key role in helping shape the performance, planning, and future direction of one of Zurich's most important customer-facing functions. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the business, you'll turn data into meaningful insights that support better decisions, improved customer outcomes, and stronger business performance.

You will also be responsible for the following:

• Strong financial analysis, forecasting and planning experience gained over multiple years in a corporate environment
• Advanced capability using SQL and Power BI to develop insights, reporting and performance dashboards
• Demonstrated ability to connect business strategy with measurable performance outcomes and initiatives
• Experience working with digital, automation or AI-driven solutions would be highly regarded
