Job summary

Zurich is seeking an Actuarial Pricing Analyst for its General Insurance division. The role focuses on shaping pricing decisions to drive profitable growth and better outcomes for customers, brokers and partners.

• A degree in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical capability using statistical, actuarial or data driven techniques.
• Proficiency in Excel and programming tools such as Python, R or SAS.
• Sound attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and data integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
• Commercial awareness of the general insurance industry, with a customer focused and growth minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide pricing and underwriting advice that supports portfolio growth and profitability objectives
• Assist with pricing recommendations, rating methodology, segment relativities and return on equity analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning through models, data and portfolio insights
• Monitor claims experience, performance indicators and value drivers to identify trends and opportunities
• Help identify profitable and underperforming segments and share insights with underwriting and distribution teams
• Improve model pricing, data quality and reporting practices in line with Zurich standards and policies

As an Actuarial Pricing Analyst in our General Insurance business, you will help shape pricing decisions that support profitable growth and better outcomes for our customers, brokers and partners.
