Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Planner / Senior Planner to lead planning on high tech construction projects, with emphasis on complex schedules, risk assessment, and client outcomes. You will work with experienced teams and manage both internal and external dependencies.

The role requires Primavera P6 expertise, a degree in construction management, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and scheduling for high tech construction projects, ideally data centres.
• Experience with quantitative risk assessment (QRA) and communicating findings to partners.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 to develop and maintain schedules.
• Degree in project management or construction.
• Detail oriented with strong focus on quality.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Build project schedules covering full scope, milestones and timelines using schedule planning methods.
• Define clear responsibility and ownership for project outcomes via WBS.
• Ensure schedule aligns with project execution, contracting, procurement and control plans.
• Baseline schedules and manage periodic updates.
• Maintain fully integrated project schedule and structure for review at multiple levels.
• Negotiate timelines and interdependencies with key partners for client outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on schedule progress.
• Review external schedules for best practices.

Planner / Senior Planner (High Tech Construction)

In this role you will:

• Build project schedules encompassing full project scope,milestonesand timelines, using critical planmethodology
• Ensure clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes is defined via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)methodology
• Ensure schedule adheres to the project execution plan and in particular contracting, procurement and project control strategy documents andplans
• Ensure there is a clear method in place for baselining of schedules and manage periodicupdates
• Manage the fully integrated project schedule and structure it to allow review at a range of levels anddetails
• Negotiate and mediate timelines and project interdependencies between key partners for a great clientoutcome
• Provideregular updates on scheduleprogress
• Review external schedules to ensure that they are compiled using scheduling bestpractices

• Have grown your planning and scheduling skills ideally on complex, high tech construction projects like data centres
• Havedemonstratedquantitative risk assessment (QRA) experience, and expertly interpret and communicate findings to keypartners
• Have working experience using Primavera P6 planning software to build yourschedule
• Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management orconstruction
• Are detail oriented and qualityfocused
